Since its inception in 1972, Marshall Tucker has continued to bring their unique style of progressive country rock to the fans who love them. Although the band has lost 4 of their original members, they are blessed to have the winsomely warm talents of Doug Gray with them. Unfortunately, Doug was not able to make this leg of the tour due to recent health issues he is recovering from. Nevertheless, the show did go on. Lead guitarist Chris Hicks took the lead as frontman singer and performed all the songs in the style everyone's accustomed to. Opening with Heard It in a Love Song, the band sounded just like they always do: like a breath of fresh South Carolina mountain air. Multitasking flute player Marcus Henderson was crisp and clean as always. toggling between keyboard and flute. Band members, Ryan Ware on bass, Rick Willis on guitar and Leroy Wilson on the drumkit tied it all together for a toe-tappin' evening of southern fried music. playing beloved hits like Can't You See and Fire on the Mountain. Marshall Tucker Band is currently on their All Our Friends Tour through March of 2026.
